Our Efforts

Who We Are

Founded in February 2025, OneAID is a women-led organization run by former USAID affiliated staff that emerged in the wake of the dismantling of the agency. As USAID was the first government entity to encounter significant changes in the new administration, OneAID formed to serve as a trusted information hub for affected staff and partners, educate the American people through press engagement, and inform elected officials of developments and impacts in a rapidly changing environment.

Nearly five months later, OneAID has moved beyond the emergency response phase, and is focused on continuing to build a place for people who now face uncertain career paths, to find community and remain connected to the work they loved even if their careers move in a different direction. Through the OneAID Network, we also serve as a convener of the grassroots groups and organizations that emerged from this monumental shift in the U.S. foreign assistance landscape.
