International assistance is a critical, strategic tool of American national and economic security. In light of the indiscriminate cuts to foreign assistance, I ask you to stand with your constituents like me and publicly urge the administration to halt and reverse all terminations of active foreign assistance programs and immediately resume the disbursement of Congressionally appropriated foreign assistance funds, in line with Congress’s power of the purse.
